"Joan Adams is living out of a Motel 6 in Orange County, California. She lost her home to foreclosure. Theres no one out there to help, Joan says. Billions were given to all the banks for bailouts for something they caused, and yet were the ones that are homeless. Tomorrow, Congress will vote on whether or not to level the playing field."

  1. Just need to say AHHHHHH!

My office is made up of true professionals and we all want real reform. One price for our services, screw the % limits. We do the same amount of work at 60k or 260k 0r 460k. Bokers AND Banks disclosing the fees coming to them. We want licenses etc nationalized and mandatory no matter where someone works.

“Tim” should be out of business and it pisses me off that someone who chose to stay at a company that encouraged him to break the law is put out there as representing me. There are sleazy companies in almost any field.

And while some people did get taken advantage of… lets not forget that the part of this story that keeps getting ignored are the borrowers of primary, secondary and investment homes that shopped until they found someone that was willing to break the law to get them in or until the borrower got “smart” enough to lie to a mortgage person who thought they were playing it straight. A huge amount of the foreclosures are those people. The ones that refused to take no for an answer, that lied because they wanted to not because any of us asked them to.

  2. loan modification can really help those homeowners that are in the brink of foreclosure. The purpose of it is to ensure that you can better afford payments for your outstanding mortgages.
